There are two free events, one virtual and one in person. Registration is open. See below for information on which to attend:
🏠 Fair Housing 101: Tenant Rights
Virtual lunch and learn
📅 Date/Time: April 21st 11am - 1pm
Description: This course provides a comprehensive overview of fair housing rights for tenants including information on reasonable accommodations and modifications for persons with disabilities, special topics, and goals of fair housing.

🏠 Fair Housing Law Overview: For Housing Providers
In-person training
📅 Date/Time: April 24th 1pm - 4pm
Location: Office of Senior Services
Senior Auditorium, 21885 Dunham Road, Clinton Township
Description: This in person training features a course providing a comprehensive overview of the history of fair housing law, state of Michigan and local protected classes, prohibited acts, reasonable accommodations and modifications, special topics, and best practices.
At the end of the training, all participants will receive a physical certificate of completion.
Light refreshments will be provided.
